NZ Military History | Secondhand

A great account of the air operations of the Royal New Zealand Air Force No. 486 Squadron, which was based in Europe from its formation in England in 1942, until it was disbanded soon after the end of the war in that area. It covers not only the detailed service and personal experiences of 486's pilots and groundcrew, but also anecdotes and details of many other nationalities and distinguished personalities.

Rare NZ book. A very good copy with a plastic-protected dust jacket. Noted that the title page contained with handwritten message from the author to the sister of "Scottie", Squadron leader, Desmond Scott DSO.
