This specimen Book is an anthology of agreeable quotations just as much as a parade of printing types: technicalities have been kept for the notes.  It has been designed to make a good reading and at the same time show a wide range of type faces, each in an appropriate setting.

Paper dust jacket is tanned and worn around the edges.  Hardcover spine is bumped around the top and bottom.  Previous owner's stamp to front endpaper.  Interior in very good condition.
