He has explored much of New Zealand and the South Pacific, from the far-flung tropical atolls of Tokelau, to the snow and ice of the Ross Dependency, Antarctica. Neville is the author of over 30 books: titles that span a quarter of a century. Neville has won a number of awards and fellowships - the most recent being the 2007 Creative New Zealand Michael King Writers' Fellowship.
