World History | Secondhand

This book, compiled from the diary, is a personal record of events in and around Changi POW Camp. Dedicated to all those patriots, friend or foe, whose lives were forfeit in this conflict, each serving his own country, it does not attemt to make judgements or state views. Woven into the story is the work of the Bureau of Record and Enquiry, of which David Nelson was in charge. It is believed to be the only recod and information centre operating behind the lines in the 'Greater East Asia Co-prosperity Sphere'
