Agricultural Heritage relates the evolution of the 'A&P' in an easily readable, richly illustrated history that also tells of the association's first hundred years at the ASB Showgrounds, Epsom. It provides the first comprehensive account of the importance of agriculture to the development of the Auckland region and its contribution to the nation.
Hugh Stringleman is one of New Zealand's leading agricultural journalists, and co-authored the history of PGG Wrightson, Rural Challenge (2006). He lives in Maungatapere, near Whangarei. Historian, author and commentator Graeme Hunt edited Hugh's work and provided much valuable business history. Sadly Graeme died in September 2010 as this book was being prepared for publication.
