Author description

Matthew Wright is a professional historian. He holds postgraduate degrees in history and has written extensively on a wide range of topics, including land claim issues, engineering and company histories. He specialises in New Zealand social and military history. His previous books include histories of the RNZAF, the RNZN and the battle of Crete. He is also the author of New Zealand's Engineering Heritage, Quake, and Two Peoples, One Land.
